About Us

SSIF Fortius Finance SA, a Greek-owned financial investment services company, provides brokerage services, mainly focused on the Bucharest Stock Exchange trading, research and advisory services for the Romanian capital market.

SSIF Fortius Finance SA was established in 1995 and is:

- an entity authorized, regulated and under the supervision of the National Securities Commission in Romania
- a founding member and a shareholder of the Bucharest Stock Exchange
- a participant in the clearing, settlement and registry system of the Central Depository Bucharest
- a shareholder of the Bucharest Clearing House
- a member of the Romanian Brokers’ Association
- a shareholder and a founding member of the Investors’ Compensation Fund
- a Managing Board member of the Investors’ Compensation Fund.


Our History

1995: Our Company is established in Bucharest as SVM Austro - Rom SA by a group of Austrian investors, being one of the first brokerages in Romania, founding member of the Bucharest Stock Exchange

1998: SVM Austro-Rom SA becomes Euro Invest Vision, after the name of one of its Austrian shareholders - Euro Invest Bank

2006: A group of Greek investors, among which Fortius Finance Securities in Athens takes over Euro Invest Vision

2007: The new shareholders decide to change the company’s name into SSIF Fortius Finance SA
